Newford Nursing Home provides both 24/7 professional Nursing and personal care to it's service users, and does so in order to provide the legal requirements and regulations associated with the Health & Social Act 2008.
We work to adhere to CQC's inspection requirements and offer a service which is:
SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE and WELL-LED
.We have recently undergone an ispection from the Care Quality Commission which has found our service to be of a 'GOOD' standard in all of these above areas.

Our Nursing Home is all based on one single storey with wide, purpose built corridors. We house four bright and themed lounges, and various other facilities such as a conservatory area, spacious dining room, and hairdressing salon. The simple planned build of the home helps the provision of care by the staff as they are able to access areas with ease and quickness.
Our staff retention is high and our team is like a family here. We are proud of the fact that we have staff working here who were here on the home's opening night almost thirty years ago.
We train our staff to a high standard and ensure that at least 75% of staff have NVQ's or similar qualifications relevant to their role.
